AI would not limit its' scope over the relatively short time span of hundreds of years, unless forced to. The previous Interglacial, the Eemian, was substantially warmer than now with only 290ppm CO2, and authoritative sources point to evidence of much higher Sea Levels then. So, AI would not tie Global Warming (and climate change) to CO2, or claim it's worse now than ever.
